Unquestionably even more beautiful and better than advertised. Truly a tropical paradise! We had 11 in our family. Can't imagine a more perfect place for all of us to enjoy a dream vacation. Owners are friendly, informative, and responsive to every need. Thank you, Dan and Lynette!

Heaven on Earth!!! That sums up this property and this island. Dan is one of the most generous and authentic people I have met. He absolutely emulates the Aloha Spirit. We were a family ranging from 7-68 years old. This property makes you feel like you are staying in a botanical garden. The yard is absolutely magical. It's so secluded and private and yet within walking distance to the ocean. This trip has been a long time coming filled with lots of emotions and with Dan's help and beautiful rental, we had a perfect trip. Dreaming about the day we can all return together and we will absolutely be coming to see Dan at Poipu Bay Getaway again. Mahalo Dan and Lynette. We were blessed to get to meet you.

This rental was stunning! Best VRBO we have stayed thus far. Great location, wonderful owners. We had two families of four along with a couple in the seperate bungalow. The property has plenty of room for everyone and you don't feel crowded. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kauai.

This house was more gorgeous than pictures represent. Lush gardens, tropical breezes, wonderful spa and pool, every amenity was thought of and provided. We stayed with 3 generations of our family (ages 4 to 71) and every single person LOVED it! Our trip was unbelievably dreamy and we came home and set a plan to eventual move there one day. Now of only we could find a house as amazing as this one… that would be heaven.

Dan and Lynette, Thank you for the vacation of our lives at the Poipu Bay Getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on June 7th-15th, 2015. You have a dream home we would love to own ourselves. We still can't believe you share it with others! It is an extremely beautiful, clean, well-maintained, tastefully decorated and open home. The salt water pool was always crystal clear and inviting. The hot tub felt so good after a hike on Waimea Canyon. The house is simply a retreat: sheltered and cozy with so many beautiful gardens and fountains, we felt like we were in our own private paradise! The neighborhood was so safe and quiet, we never even locked our doors or shut the windows. Shipwreck beach was just a short, relaxing stroll away. We loved it because it was never crowded and we could enjoy its natural beauty. We sat for hours simply listening to the ocean. We saw several sea turtles feeding on the algae of the rocks in the evenings! We will definitely stay here again. The location on the south side of the island was ideal for us. The house is close to swimming and snorkeling beaches, shopping and restaurants. We cried when we had to head back to Oklahoma, but now we can look forward to visiting here again. Mahalo!
